PCI employs a two-stage power protection system in order to guarantee the best possible response to power problems.

The first line of defense is our independent UPS system. These systems take over in the case that utility power is bumped or lost for even the most brief amount of time.

The second line of defense is our auto start generator. The generator will automatically start in case of a power outage and can run independently without refueling for 1 week. Should refueling be required the generator can be refueled without any interruption to our services.

PCI owns and operates its own dedicated network for its web hosting datacenter. All of our servers are connected to our switched ethernet network which guarantees a collision free, low latency service for you and your customers. Multiple outgoing line provide redundancy should a link fail.

We have direct connections to national backbones such as Qwest, and Cable & Wireless. These connections are all monitored and services by Cisco routers running BGP4 to automatically reroute traffic should a part of the network suffer an outage.

Our network is continually expanding to meet our customers needs. Upgrade plans are published on our website.

The PCI datacenter is located inside a secure building. Multiple electronic and key entry points have to be passed to gain entry to our hosting facility. Access cards and key's are only distributed to authorized personnel.
